Q. How does PV Locker™ work?
A. PV Locker™ allows you to purchase individual videos and store them in your 'PV Locker™' within the 'Cloud'. Your locker enables you to watch any videos you own from any location on any device with web access and the ability to play video.

Q: What's the cloud?
A: In this sense "cloud" refers to a storage area on the internet that allows easy access to your videos without being on a specific machine. Simply put, PV Locker™ gives you private spot to store your adult videos on the web. This means that you don't need to download videos to your computer. You simply log in to view your videos where they exist in a secure, private locker within the "cloud".

Q: How do I buy a video?
A:

  1. Select a video you would like to stream and click on price to purchase.
  2. You will be asked to enter your Email and Password to create an account.
  3. You will need to enter a credit card number for your initial purchase. You will only need to do this once.
  4. After your account is created you simply log in and click "My Locker" to see your videos
  5. You will not receive any additional charges without making new purchases on PV Locker™
  6. You will receive an email with your purchase information.

Q: How do I buy more videos?
A:

  1. Just click the price on the video you want to buy.
  2. Confirm that you wish to purchase the episode.
  3. After buying, the video will appear in your locker and you will be taken to the video's information where you can just click "View Full Episode"
  4. You will receive an email with your purchase information.
  5. You will not receive any additional charges without making new purchases on PV Locker™

Q: What is a bundle and why would I want one?
A: A bundle is a group of videos that we "bundle" together to save you money and make buying movies more convenient. We put anywhere from 2 to 20 videos in a bundle together based on a star, a theme, a series or any other crazy thing we decide kind of goes together. We reduce the price for every video in a bundle down to $2.99 per video and sometimes include entire videos for free. This kind of bulk buying can save you a lot of money and help you fill out your collection.

Q: How do I buy a bundle?
A: Just like any other purchase on PV Locker™ all you need to do is click the "Get this" button and the movies will appear in your locker.

Q: What if I already have some of the movies in the bundle?
A: We don't want you to have repeats in your locker so we will show you which movies you already own, and only charge you for the rest when you purchase the bundle. You'll also notice that the button changes from "Get this bundle..." to "Complete this bundle..."

Q: What is the "Top Shelf" and why should I use it?
A: Top Shelf allows you to put movies from your locker up into a special section for faster access. Got a favorite movie you're watching frequently and want to find it fast? Just click Top Shelf and it goes to the top of your locker.

Q: What is the "Archive" and why should I use it?
A: Archive lets you take movies out of your locker and put them in a private Archive where they won't be readily accessible or visible from your My Locker page.

Q: What devices can I use to view PV Locker™?
A: PV Locker™ can be accessed through your PC, Laptop, Tablet, or Smartphone.

Q: Can I download videos?
A: Videos are not available for download, since that kind of goes against the whole point of your porn being in a secure place not inside your computer, phone or tablet.

Q: Do I need an internet connection to view my videos?
A: Yes you do. You cannot access your locker without internet access.

Q: What do I need in order to view videos
A: You must have Quicktime installed in order to view videos on a PC or laptop. PV Locker™ videos are formatted to play on your smartphone or tablet without any additional software.

A: The connection speed is pre-selected to play in broadband, but you may need to click on the "Video Quality" button on the movie you are trying to view and choose a slower speed before attempting to stream the movie.

Q: I'm experiencing choppiness or, constant re-buffering while viewing a video.
A: See above. The quality you can successfully stream in your browser depends on your Internet connection- the faster your connection is, the better quality you can stream.

Q: I'm having trouble viewing videos on my smartphone?
A: Try picking a different video quality. Try viewing clips instead of full scenes. Try clearing your cache, cookies, and history.

Q: Why doesn't my password work?
A: Passwords are CaSe SeNsITIve and must be entered with the exact capital and lowercase letters.

Q: I would like to chargeback my purchases
A: Charge Backs And Fraud From Our Members
A billing chargeback will place your name, address, zip code, and credit card number into an Internet fraud database. All internet credit card companies use this database. We do not have any control over this fraud database. If you chargeback your membership, the billing company will add your information to the ban database. If you get into this database you will not be able to use that billing company again. It is impossible to get off the ban lists. Be smart! Don't destroy your internet credit by being added to this list and investigated for fraud!

Q: Why are my purchases being declined?
A: If you've purchased several other movies within a forty-eight hour period, some banks will flag these small, repeated purchases as potential fraud. You may be able to contact your bank to resolve this issue.

Q: I'm seeing additional charges on my credit card?
A: PV Locker™ has no additional charges unless you make additional purchases. If you're seeing unauthorized charges please contact customer support so we can help you determine if your account has been compromised.

Cancellation

Q: Do I need to cancel my account?
A: Your purchases are made instantly and you are only billed per purchase, so no cancellation is necessary, just stop using your account and you will not receive additional charges.

Uploads

Q: What is a PV Locker™ upload account and why do I need one?
A: An upload account with PV Locker™ gives you the ability to add movies that you have stored on your computer to your locker, so all your favorite porn vids are in one place. You can then watch them from any device with an Internet connection including PCs, laptops, tablets and smart phones.

Q: How do I get a PV Locker™ upload account?
A: You can get a free 25-minute upload account by purchasing any film from the PV Locker™ library. Another option is to purchase an upload account directly. You can determine how much video space you want based on how many movies you have.

Q: Can I download the videos I uploaded to PV Locker™?
A: Yes. You can download the movies you stored in your locker in the best-available, trans-coded format, by pressing the "Download" button for that video on the Upload page. Please note that this download will not be in the original format in which you uploaded the video.

Q: Why do I need to enter my credit card again to set up an upload account?
A: If you have purchased movies from our library and you sign up for an upload account, you must enter your credit card again. This is for your security. Also, while movie purchases are a one-time charge, an upload account recurs monthly, so we want to give our users the option to have their accounts on separate credit cards if they desire.

Q: What can I upload to grooby.tv?
A: Pretty much any video that you have in a digital form that is accessible from your desktop or laptop and is under 2GB in size.

Q: Can I upload photos to PV Locker™?
A: No. Just video.

Q: Why are you re-encoding / transcoding my videos?
A: The goal of PV Locker™ is to make your videos work with all devices that are Internet- and video-friendly. We take your files and turn them into mobile-friendly formats and sizes that will play wherever you go on any device.

Q: What formats should my videos be in to upload?
A: Many formats will work with our encoding, but none are guaranteed. Here is a list of video formats we've encoded with success: .wmv, .mp4, .avi, .mpeg, .mpg, .mov, .rm, .rmvb, . m4v, .3gp

Q: My video is in one of the listed formats, why won't it encode?
A: While most videos in the listed formats should work, we cannot guarantee that a video can be transcoded. Small variations in a file may cause it to fail.

Q: How long does encoding take?
A: Encoding times are based on how many movies are waiting for a free encoder. Best-case encoding can happen in just minutes while, if there is a serious backlog, encoding may take as long as 48 hours. Check your Upload page for status.

Q: How long does uploading take?
A: This varies based on the speed of your Internet connection and the size of your video file. Make sure you leave the upload window open until your video finishes uploading and the "complete" message appears, otherwise you'll have to start over.

Q: I uploaded my video and I didn't see it appear in on my Uploads page. What's up?
A: The video may not have made it up to the site. Make sure you leave the upload window open until the "Complete" message appears. Even if we can't encode a video, it should still show up on the Uploads page. It is also possible your Internet connection may have reset. Please try it again.

Q: My video uploaded, but I get a message that says "Encoding Failed". Why?
A: Some videos won't encode successfully. This can occur for a wide variety of reasons. We recommend trying one more time, in case there was a problem with data during the upload process. If the same video fails a second time, our transcoder may not be able to encode that video.

Q: What devices can I watch my videos on?
A: Any PC or laptop with a modern web browser. Any web-capable smart phone or tablet with video capability. You must have an Internet connection.

Q: Will the movies I buy from PV Locker™'s store count against my storage space?
A: No, you are not charged for storing videos you purchased from PV Locker™. Only movies you upload yourself will count against your video storage space.

Q: Can I share videos I upload?
A: No. Your locker is your own private "porn stash in the cloud". There is no method to broadcast videos from within the locker to other members or non-members.

Q: Should I delete my original movies after uploading them?
A: No. Remember that we are trans-coding your videos. We don't keep the original file you uploaded. If you want to maintain your videos in their original format, we recommend backing them up.

Q: What happens to my movies if I cancel my account?
A: We will keep your videos stored and in your locker for 30 days from the date of cancellation. If you don't renew your account in that time your videos will be permanently deleted.

Q: Can I upgrade my locker account?
A: Sure. You can upgrade or downgrade your account just by clicking upgrade in either the upload editor or the My Account tab at the top of the screen. Please note that you can only upgrade or downgrade once in 30 days. Any subsequent account changes in that period will require contacting our customer service.

Q: Some of the videos in my upload locker are whited out or won't play?
A: This is because you've exceeded your locker capacity. Please upgrade to a larger account or delete some other videos in your locker to make room so that those movies are viewable. Encoded videos that go over your storage space will be deleted after 30 days unless you upgrade your account to a larger amount of storage.

Q: What happens to my movies if PV Locker™ shuts down?
A: grooby.tv is part of the Pink Visual® / TopBucks™ family of products, which has been on the Internet for over a decade. We don't have any plans to close our doors soon. However, in the event that the product is discontinued for any reason you will be notified in advance and given several weeks to download your videos before any server is shut down.

Rentals

Q: What are Rentals?
A: Rentals allow you to rent any movie that is available for rent, for a period of 24 hours. This allows you to enjoy the movie without making the commitment to buy. Your rentals will appear at the very top of your locker with the most current one listed first.

Q: How much do they cost?
A: Rentals will vary in cost based on studio and release date but the majority will be between $.99 and $1.99

Q: When does my 24 hour Rental Period begin?
A: The 24 hour rental period begins the moment you first click "View" from any device you're logged in from. The Green "Rented" button on the movie detail page will let you know how much time you have left.

Q: So I don't have to watch movies I rent immediately?
A: Nope. You can rent it today and not watch it for a month and it will still be valid. However, the moment you click that "View" button the timer starts counting down.

Q: What happens after I rent a movie?
A: If you liked it, you can rent it again or buy it and the best part is YOU GET A DISCOUNT IF YOU WANT TO BUY THAT MOVIE! Yep, seriously, we'll knock the rental cost off the price of the movie.

Q: Why isn't every movie available for rent?
A: Not every studio available on PV Locker has agreed to make their movies available for rent. We're working on getting everyone signed up.

Rewards

Q: What is this Rewards program thing?
A: As a valued member of PV Locker™, we want to keep you happy. We came up with a Rewards plan to give you more porn! The idea is pretty simple: for every movie you buy we give you 10% back or better and it counts towards raising your ranking on the site.

So here's how it works:

Purchase 5 movies and you're ranked as MEMBER and get 1 free credit you can use to add any film to your locker.

20 movies = FAN and get 2 free credits

50 movies = COLLECTOR and receive 5 free credits

100 movies = CONNOISSEUR and receive 10 free credits

200 movies = EXPERT and receive 20 free credits

500 movies = PROFESSIONAL and receive 50 free credits

So by the time you reach the PROFESSIONAL rank you've received almost 100 free movies to add to your locker. That's approximately a $300.00 value!

Q: Do my credits count toward my next rank Rewards level?
A: No, credits are a reward. Only movies you purchase will count towards your next rank.

Q: Can I use my rewards for any movie?
A: Yep, any video or bundle in our library can be purchased using one credit per episode, regardless of price. If you purchase a bundle but don't have enough credits to cover the entire bundle pack, the price will adjust for the credits you do have and you'll only pay the difference.

Q: How do I know when I've received a reward?
A: You'll see white text at the top of the screen, near the "My Account" area, that shows your current credits and rank. You'll also receive a notice in the locker messaging system.

Q: How else can I earn rewards?
A: We like to give rewards away, so we do it for a lot of reasons. Sometimes it can be to celebrate a holiday, or to thank you for taking a survey or participating. Either way, you should be getting some goodies.
